Chemonics International, a U.S. based international development consulting firm, seeks an experienced chief of party and professionals for an anticipated five-year USAID-funded enabling environment for agriculture activity in Uganda. The proposed feed the future project will partner with Ugandan private and public sector institutions to improve the enabling environment for agricultural development, trade, and adaptation to climate change. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world and demonstrate leadership, versatility, and integrity in their work.

Proven track record implementing agricultural trade and agriculture enabling environment activities with international experience in trade facilitation and agriculture policy reform is required

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in a related field required
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Ugandan experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated high level technical, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and on a team and with local counterparts and institutions
• Proven track record of achieving results in similar types of activities
• Fluency in English is required
