Job Vacancy at Hardware World in Uganda 2013

Must be experienced with excellent stores administrative and comprehensive inventory management skill to oversee our extensive range of building, electrical plumbing and general hardware material.
Must have hands on working knowledge of inventory control systems, preparation and supervision of stock taking and Tally EPR9 software programs. Prior inventory management experience in a similar setting a must.

Reports to the Business Manager and responsibilities include:

- Maintain and adequate but tight stock of inventory.
- Review inventory by categories on a rotating basis to minimize stock outs and overstocking.
- Maintain and balance physical stocks against Tally Accounting system records. Costing and pricing of all stock items of inventory.

Minimum Academic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Commerce or BBA (Accounting): or Stores Management or its equivalent from a reputable institution. A post graduate qualification in stores and Logistics Management will be an added advantage.
