Sugar Corporation of Uganda is part of Mehta Group of Companies and one of the leading producers of Mill White Sugar in the country. Its located 45kms on Kampala – Jinja Highway, just within the vicinity of Lugazi Town Council, Buikwe District.

Sugar Corporation of Uganda has vacancies for:

1) Maintenance Officer – MCT Workshop
Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Auto mobile Engineering
Computer Knowledge in Micro Soft Office is an added advantage
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience in general maintenance of tractors, trailers and hydraulic equipment
Age: Between 25 – 35

2) Maintenance Officer CWS (Lorry and Car Section)
Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in Hand on practical experience in general maintenance of Tata trucks, cars etc
Must be knowledgeable about Engine overhaul of petrol and diesel motor vehicles
Age: Between 25 – 35

3) Mechanical Engineer
Qualification:
B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
2 years and above in relevant field
Practical hand on experience in maintenance/repair of water pumps is a must
